This policy explains data processing on tattooxpert.com. The operator’s details and terms of use are in the legal notice. Read the legal notice.

What we use and why

• Email enquiries: your address, name if supplied and message contents, to respond and handle your enquiry. The basis is our legitimate interest in responding to communications addressed to us; where you request pre-contractual steps, that is the applicable basis. We do not use these messages for advertising.
• Private access: the owner’s credentials, session and login-attempt records associated with a hash of the IP protect the dashboard. The password is stored as a hash, not readable text. Our legitimate interest is maintaining website security.
• First-party statistics: we count page views and “View offer” clicks, with the page or product, language, market and date. These events do not store IP addresses, names, email addresses, session IDs or advertising identifiers. We do not identify unique visitors or build personal profiles. The server receives technical information when handling requests; this is separate from these counts.

There is no public registration, public commenting or newsletter subscription. The daily digest is an internal message to the owner. We do not send readers’ browsing information to content-generation tools.

Cookies and browser storage

We only use our own technical functions. We do not install advertising or third-party analytics cookies. The informational notice does not request consent to optional tracking because no such tracking is installed.

• tx_session — Technical session for private access and form protection. It expires when the browser session ends; owner access expires after one hour of inactivity.
• tx-comparison-v2-real — Local storage for up to three products you select to compare. It stays in your browser until you remove the selection or clear site data. It is not used to identify you.
• tx-legal-notice-v1 — Session storage remembering that you dismissed this notice, until the tab session ends.

You can remove this data through browser settings. Blocking it may affect comparison or private access. The language is part of the page address and needs no cookie. Old market-selection cookies are removed when you revisit the site.

Providers and external links

IONOS provides TattooXpert’s hosting, database and email. The provider may process technical logs needed to deliver and protect these services, according to its documentation and the hosting agreement. We have not connected Google Analytics, advertising pixels or external tracking tools.

When you open an Amazon or other external link, you leave TattooXpert. The destination handles the request under its own privacy and cookie policy. We do not share a reader database with Amazon or manage your orders.

We do not transfer reader data internationally for advertising or profiling. Access to external services is governed by their respective controllers’ safeguards and terms.

How long data is kept

We retain enquiries while needed to handle them and any associated responsibilities, reviewing their necessity when the enquiry closes. Login-block records last 15 minutes and are removed after expiry during daily maintenance. Statistical events are retained in the active table for 90 days, with daily cleanup. Backups have restricted access and are not used for measurement. Historical digests retain counts without visitor identifiers. IONOS documents a maximum of eight weeks for hosting access logs and are separate from our statistics table.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable by emailing info@tattooxpert.com. Explain your request and its connection to your enquiry. We will request additional information only if needed to verify identity; do not send identity documents initially.

We normally respond within one month. You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency. We do not use automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on readers. AEPD.
